Classes & Workshops

Wildflour Bakery offers cookie decorating classes perfect for beginners looking for a fun experience with friends and family! Don't be shy! No decorating experience is needed for these classes. We typically recommend class attendees be at least 10 years of age. If you have someone under the age of 10 that would like to attend, please shoot us a message to figure out if a decorating class is right for them. 

I also occasionally offer intermediate and advanced workshops designed to enhance decorating skills for fellow cookiers! Topics in these classes range based on what you all want to learn so if you have something you would like to learn or expand your skills in, shoot me a message and let's get a class started for you!

Ghouls Night Out Cookie Class - 10/25/24 @ 6PM

Join Wildflour Cookie Co. to learn the basics of decorating beautiful sugar cookies in this fun Beginner's Class! Emilee will guide you step by step in decorating 6 sugar cookies that you will be able to take home and show off to your friends and family! All supplies are provided in class, all you need to bring is a great attitude and readiness to have fun!


This event will be held at the Wildflour Cookie Co. new commercial space, 601 N Waverly Rd, Lansing, MI 48917. Doors open 15 minutes prior to class starting. Class will begin at 6:00PM on Friday, 10/25/24 and will end approximately at 8:00PM.


Techniques discussed in this class include:

-outlining

-flooding

-2D details

-royal icing consistencies

-wet on wet technique


All students will leave this class with the basic knowledge of decorating with royal icing, a box to take home your creations, tips and tricks guide including information on icing consistencies, royal icing and sugar cookie recipes to show off your new found skills!


All are welcome and encouraged to attend this beginner's class. We typically recommend ages 8 and up for these types of classes but if you believe your younger child will be interested and have fun, all ages are welcome. All children under the age of 16 do however need to be accompanied by an adult.


All ticket sales are final. In the event that you cannot attend class, you may transfer your ticket to someone else. If that happens, please let me know as soon as possible so I can update the attendance list. I do sometimes have a wait list, so if you are unable to find someone on your own, let me know and I can try to pull from that list.


We reserve the right to cancel or change the event in the case of illness, emergency or low registrations. If this happens, Wildflour Cookie Co. will notify you immediately and class will either be rescheduled or all tickets will be refunded. In the event of inclement weather or an act of God, all registrants will be sent a coupon code to allow them to apply the fees paid for the cancelled class toward a future class of their choice.
